The Infinite Interior combines the functional aspects of the client's office space needs with striking installations that echo their brand identity. Office desks, storage spaces and conference rooms are modern and minimal in a mixture of brand colors and natural woods to create a clean but comfortable mood.
Upon entering the office, visitors are greeted by a stunning light art installation consisting of a field of antique Edison bulbs at various heights surrounded by thin strips of mirror spelling out "NFX" in barcode.
Stepping into the office space visitors are greeted with the stunning Infinite Library installation, which is a curved bookshelf with faceted infinity mirror interior. Echoing the client message of infinite knowledge and a novel perspective, the concept also ties to Borges' Library of Babel, an infinite space that contains all knowledge and possible combinations of text. Extending out from the bookshelves are custom cabinets and benches for visitors to wait and find refreshments.
Continuing from the lobby into the conference rooms and open plan workspace, subtle hints of the geometric brand identity create soft room dividers and surround all screens in seamless faceted facades. A lounge area is in the far end of the workspace, allowing for casual conversations or workspace on leather seating and geometric tables. Also in the lounge area, a string-art installation creating the brand logo in the lounge area emerges from an antique typewriter onto the wall with venetian plaster in brand colors and continues to the ceiling, echoing the transmission of knowledge through the company's efforts.
Lastly in the presentation space beyond the lounge a tessellated backdrop of sound panels create a backdrop to educational seminars and keynote speakers that take the stage. Additional sound absorption was added to the space as well to soften the echoes of the open floor plan.
